Phoenicia Spa & Wellness is a luxury spa located within The Phoenicia Malta, a five-star hotel at The Mall in Floriana, at the entrance to Valletta. The spa spans 1,200 square metres across two floors and was named Best Spa Hotel at the International Hotel Awards 2024-2025. It also received a Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Award in 2024.
During the spa's construction, excavations revealed one of Valletta's original 16th-century fortification walls built by the Knights of St John. The spa was redesigned around this preserved structure, making it a genuinely distinctive wellness setting in Malta.
Treatments include Himalayan salt stone massage, KORRES advanced skin therapies, chocolate body wraps, honey oat body exfoliation, JetPeel facial treatments, and VISIA skin analysis. Facilities include an indoor pool, Himalayan salt room, sauna, steam room, and multi-jet showers, as well as a fully equipped fitness centre.
The spa is open to hotel guests and outside visitors. Day spa packages and multi-day wellness programmes are available, including a 7-day spa and wellness experience.
